Here is an explanation of the XLInk process flow.

 
1. XLink asks for orders
Xlink checks the settings for your download url entered in settings.
The download url is a file that generates order xml on your web shop when asked.



2.Web server responds and gives orders
For example "Select orders from Ordertable where status ='X'"
The orders are organised in to the XML schema http://images.excommerce.net/mamut/docs/orders.xsd


3. XLink downloads orders
This can happen by the user pressing a button or by windows task schedule
Xlink downloads all the orders into Mamut.



4. Xlink sends the confirmation
While downloading, XLink notes the web order id that is sent in the tag.
At the end of the download, Xlink creates an XML file that is automatically posted back to the webserver.



5. The webserver is setup to accept the order confrmation file.
The web server reads through the order confirmation file and updates the order status to reflect a new downloaded status.
